Wimbledon Automatics is a family run business and have been established since 1980 with over thirty-five years of technical experience on many, if not all automatic transmissions in the industry.

We are automatic gearbox experts specialising in high quality servicing, repair, maintenance and fitting of all types of gearbox.

All of our full-time technicians also have hands on experience in removing and assembling of all automatic transmissions.

Our main objective is ensuring you the customer come first and that all your needs and requirements are met.

Transmission failure can be caused by many different things, whether it be an electrical or mechanical fault. We have four of the latest diagnostic machines on the market, which are updated each month. With this equipment we can scan and clear trouble coded faults, for example engine management, transmission ECU, abs, to name a few, which could be stored into your database.

We deal with the majority of main agents and independent dealership: Ford, Vauxhall, Mercedes and Honda but we don’t quote agent prices. You’ll find our prices very competitive. We also cover all makes and models of automatic transmissions. In some cases these can be repaired, depending on the fault of your vehicle. We will give you the customer, the choice to repair or replace the transmission with a reconditioned gear box. All our repairs and reconditioned transmissions are done in-house and are built to a very high standard using only OEM genuine products.

All reconditioned transmissions come with a twelve month, 12,000 mile warranty. All warranties on repairs are subject to the fault found. We are currently working with one of London’s largest private vehicle hire companies looking after their fleet of automatic MPV’s.
